Dancing With Michel & Company offers classes in social dances for adults of all ages. We are located in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. We focus on a variety of dance styles, including:

• Dances from the Swing Era (Lindy, Jive, Jitterbug)
• International Style Ballroom & Latin dances (Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Quickstep, Viennese Waltz, Cha Cha Cha, Rumba, Samba, Paso Doble, Jive)
• Dances from the hot clubs of Havana and Miami (Salsa, Merengue, Bachata)
• Dances from the Disco era (Hustle)

The pace of a typical class has been honed over the years, so that it is appropriate for most students (we keep it interesting for all). Each hour of instruction will include a new dance sequence along with a review of content of the previous class. Our primary focus is on providing a fun, energetic atmosphere which is conducive to learning. We teach using a structured program punctuated with humour and attention to detail.
